Red Maple Grove Rituals

Red Maple Grove, without fail, holds open rituals celebrating the eight standard Neo-Pagan High Holy Days: equinoxes, solstices, plus the four Celtic mid points, Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtine and Lughnasad. Our rituals are open (public). If you’re interested, you’re welcome. Feel free to let us know which times and locations would best enable you to attend future rituals. Our next public ritual will be our first Lughnasad 2024 ritual. This will be held on Friday, July 26th at 5 pm at our Sacred Oak Tree, just southwest of the path intersection, just inside the park, where Kippewa meets Dows Lake Rd. There is an ugly red sculpture nearby as a landmark. Can’t come and would like to participate? Feel welcome to join in spirit when and where works for you. Also, don’t hesitate to let us know when and where would be good for you to come in person. Red Maple Grove has a Norse/Celtic focus. So, usually our Cross-quarter high days are Norse, while our traditional Celtic mid points are Celtic. We have also held rituals in other cultural styles, including Slavic.

As an ADF grove, we present ADF rituals, the more recent ones following ADF’s current Core Order of Ritual. We have been holding formal rituals since Midsummer 1999. We held an informal one on Bealtine 1999. A formal ADF ritual was conducted in Ottawa at the Spring Equinox in 1999 by Montreal’s Silver Fox Grove. Some of our previous rituals, going back several years, may be seen by clicking at the appropriate ritual link below. At each ritual we take an omen, as per standard ADF practice. Some omens may be seen by clicking at the appropriate omen link.

Thrice Three Blessings!
